Tanning is the process, now conducted on an industrial scale, by means of which the untreated hides are processed to obtain a stable, finished product, suitable for a wide range of manufacturing applications. Industrial fans are widely employed in many other treatment processes as drying, painting, cutting and more, to enhance the quality of the end product.
Such process is often carried out in ATEX classified premises, with potentially inflammable products or in the presence of chemical exhalations or violent reactions, so that adequately safe and resistant materials must be used.
