The water treatment sector encompasses a wide range of processes. Treatment plants work to clean wastewater before reinmission in the environment for a process or to make it drinkable or useful for specific applications.
Depuration plants may apply particular water treatments to water. Mechanical treatments are required before the process: after a pretreatment to remove all the material that may damage pumps and equipments, grit, sands and stones are removed. Afterwards a fat and grease removal process through a tank with skimmers is necessary. In this process industrial fans and blowers may be useful to recover fats and oil as froth.
Also the sewage treatment is a process to remove contaminants from wastewater. Air and oxygen help the growth of floc to remove organic materials.
Drying of Sewage and Sludge Depuration (Sewage Sludge Drying Systems). This process decreases the amount of sludge to be incinerated, by increasing its calorific value. It may be requested after a treatment with centrifugal drying system or filter press application to obtain a perfectly dried end product. Pelletting process is used to produce organic fertilizers without humidity for easy packaging, transport and stock.
Cooling Towers. In many cases waste water treatments or high temperature water request proper tecniques for temperature reduction. Fin fan is a specific heat exchanger system where air pass through a finned tube to dissipate the heat generated during the process. It is important to recover energy. Cooling tower fans are the proper solution to dissipate water heat reducing temperature.
